At Dows Lane Elementary School, we are passionate about creating an inclusive, nurturing, joyful learning environment- where all students, staff, families, and visitors feel a sense of belonging. We strive to create a balance between a strong academic foundation and social-emotional learning. We believe that children build knowledge as they are thinking, creating, and collaborating with others.
Feeling positive about school and learning is at the forefront of our values. We want our students to become caring, compassionate individuals who grow into the best versions of themselves. We foster relationships and partner with families to support our students. We are also grateful for our extraordinary PTSA and IEF partners and their support and enrichment opportunities.
Dows Lane was honored as a National Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education. Everyone at Dows Lane is committed to helping all children reach their fullest potential, and we engage in continuous professional learning to grow stronger and better every day.
