Community Information
-
A school district is at its best when schools, parents, and the community work together to promote the health, well being, and learning of all students. According to a recent policy brief from the National Education Association (NEA), “when schools, parents, families, and communities work together to support learning, students tend to earn higher grades, attend school more regularly, stay in school longer, and enroll in higher level programs”. The Irvington UFSD is proud to foster partnerships between its schools, families and community groups, and individuals in an effort to improve learning opportuntiies for all of our students.
Below are a list of links and resources for our community members. We are thankful for their partnerships and to being contributing members of the Irvington community.
