Transportation Information

  • The District provides busing for all students who live .25 miles from their elementary school or 1.25 miles from the Middle or High School.  Parents do not need to register for busing - this is automatically done each year based on active school registrations. If a family does not intend to use district busing, they should contact the Transportation Department at 914 295-5544 or transportation@ardsleyschools.org.

Student bus assignments are available on the online transportation portal, which you can access via this link: myridek12.tylerapp.com.  A link to instructions for logging in may be found on the main Transportation page. The approximate opening date for the transportation portal is August 24, 2024. We will update the community via our newsletter when we have a definite date.

Log-in instructions may be found here Instructions for using Transportation Portal**

    IMPORTANT NOTE TO PARENTS:

    • Students should be at the bus stop 5 minutes earlier than the scheduled AM pick-up time. Buses are permitted to leave within that 5-minute window.
    • Afternoon arrival times are approximate and can vary day to day based on school dismissal procedures and/or traffic conditions.
    • Please check the portal frequently during the first few weeks of school since time adjustments may need to be made to allow for students being added to or removed from your route.
    • Students need to get used to their bus routine, so there could be delays of up to 10-30 minutes in bus arrivals during the first weeks of school.

**Transportation When the District is Closed:   No busing will be provided to non-public schools for orientation daysafter-school activities, late classes outside of the normal scheduleFederal Holidays, or when Ardsley schools are closed due to inclement weather conditions. However, busing will be provided on Superintendent Conference days. Please check the district calendar for all relevant dates and be prepared to make alternate transportation arrangements.
