2017-18 District-wide School Quality Survey
-
The Irvington Union Free School District will present the results from the districtwide School Quality Survey on June 14 at 7 p.m. in the middle/high school campus presentation room. The survey, which was administered in April, sought feedback about school experiences, student and academic support, safety and behavior, school leadership and family involvement.
The presentation will include feedback from approximately 1,800 middle school and high school students, staff, parents and community members who completed the survey. While the results are presented publicly, all responses are strictly confidential and the final reports only include overall findings.
K12 Insight, an independent research and communications firm that the District partnered with, administered the survey and compiled the results.
“The results will help IUFSD understand our students’ needs, determine our strengths and identify opportunities for improvement,” Superintendent of Schools Dr. Kristopher Harrison said. “Thanks to our school community members for their continued support of the Irvington schools. With their candid feedback, we are confident we can continue to prepare every child for success in their future.”
