June 7, 2021 COVID-19 Surveillance Testing Update
Today, the Irvington UFSD facilitated its 5th round of COVID-19 surveillance testing; wherein, 103 students and staff members were tested. The District is pleased to report that no one who participated in today's testing had positive results. To date, nearly 600 students and staff members have been tested and all results have been negative for COVID-19.
The last round of surveillance testing for the 2020-21 school year will be held on Monday, June 21, 2021. Those individuals, or their parents, who are selected will receive an email inviting them to participate on Wednesday, June 16th.
The District continues to extend its thanks to the entire school community for their continued commitment to protecting their own health and that of others by following the recommended COVID-19 safety protocols.
