Important News Regarding Flu Prevention
Flu season is now upon us and we are required by New York State Public Health Laws to publicize information about the flu and the benefits of the flu vaccine. The flu can be a very serious illness and the best way to prevent it is by receiving the flu vaccine, which is recommended for everyone six month of age and older. In addition, practicing common sense hygiene, such as handwashing with soap and water, using alcohol-based hand sanitizer and coughing/sneezing into your elbow, not your hands, will also help.
