Members of Main Street School’s fifth grade band, orchestra, chorus and MSS Singers showed off their musical talents during the annual winter concert on Jan. 12.
The concert opened with a performance of “Procession of Heroes” and “Relics of the Past” by the band, followed by a performance of “Lotus Dance” and “Pepperoni Pizza Rock” by the orchestra. Members of the Main Street School Singers performed “Give Us Hope” and “High Hopes” and members of the chorus performed “Sisi Ni Moja” and “Happy.”
Special thanks to music teacher Nicole Allison for guiding the orchestra students, music teacher Megan Hannon for supporting the band and chorus students and fourth and fifth graders in the MSS Singers, as well as Jonathan Ackerman for accompanying them on piano.
