Members of Main Street School’s fifth grade band and Irvington High School’s band connected over their love of music when they performed for each other at Main Street School’s auditorium on May 29.
“Both ensembles sounded incredible, and it was so wonderful to watch each group watch the other perform,” MSS Principal Joyce Chapnick said. “The fifth graders had such respect for the high schoolers and likewise the high school students for the fifth graders.”
Special thanks to music teachers Megan Hannon, Debra McCumber and Paul Scattaretico for providing the students with the experience.
