Members of Irvington High School’s Marine Club gathered at Matthiessen Park, equipped with trash bags and gloves, to actively engage in the cleanup of litter along the banks of the Hudson River. Under the guidance of science teacher Nadia Parikka, the students demonstrated their commitment to supporting the local ecosystem and acted as engaged citizens. This marked their first river cleanup of the year, showcasing their dedication to community involvement.
