Main Street School students and staff members commemorated the anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks when they gathered by the flagpole on Sept. 11. They participated in a moment of silence to pay their respects to the victims and heroes who lost their lives on Sept. 11, 2001.
Following the recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance, Principal Joyce Chapnick shared a few words in honor of the victims, and teachers engaged their students in a read aloud in their classrooms and in conversations about the day.
