The MSS Library is integral to the school community and dedicated to nurturing each student’s abilities to be effective information seekers, critical thinkers, and motivated readers. The Library's curriculum focuses on Information Literacy, digital citizenship, and enriching the reading lives of all students. The curriculum is designed to nurture and support a student’s development as confident, self-directed problem-solvers and responsible digital citizens. The library supports each student’s personal reading interests by providing a robust and diverse library collection to meet the needs of independent readers.
Students come to the library once a week as a class to choose books based on their personal reading interests or academic needs with the support of Ms. Pulley. Students are also encouraged to use the library independently throughout the week to exchange books.
