The Moving Pieces of Senior Year: Nuts & Bolts
Suggested Audience: Senior Families.
Hosted in SeptemberWe will review the senior year including procedures for requesting documentation and best practices to approaching the application. There is a mandatory town hall meeting for all seniors, where we review the same information
A Night with Admissions Representatives
Suggested Audience: Any family ready to begin the college admissions process. Junior families are highly encouraged to attend.
Hosted every other November/December (rotating yearly with our admissions case study program)Learn about the college process from the experts themselves! A panel of college admission representatives will give the inside scoop on the process including what you and your child should be doing now, tips to approaching the process, and will answer questions you have.
Curriculum Night
Suggested Audience: 8th grade and 10th grade families.
Hosted in JanuaryJoin us as we take a first look the vast opportunities available to students at Irvington High School. By traveling through short presentations, you will gain an understanding of course sequencing, graduation requirements, and elective opportunities. The program will be catered towards curriculum at two integral junctions: starting high school and becoming an upperclass student.

Hosted in the springMeet your child’s counselor, learn what to expect over the next four years at Irvington High School and what steps you can be taking yearly toward post-high school success! This program is typically offered both in the morning and at night to accommodate schedules.

Hosted in the springThis program will consist of multiple workshops to choose from. Past Topics have included: College Admissions 101, Understanding the Financial Aid Process, Early College Planning, Maximizing your application, An Overview of the SUNY system, SAT vs ACT, The Transition to College, and more! Workshops are offered to support families at all stages of the process.
