The incoming kindergarten class at Dows Lane Elementary School had an exciting day filled with fun and learning as they took a special school bus ride around the school grounds on Aug. 26. Principal Dr. Andrea Kantor and Assistant Principal Tom Chickery led the tour, ensuring that the young students felt comfortable and excited about their new school. Superintendent Dr. Mara Ratesic joined in on the bus ride, adding to the thrill of the day.
The event was an opportunity for students and their families to learn about school routines and what to expect on the first day. Special thanks to the PTSA for generously gifting each child a plush bulldog toy as a warm welcome to the Irvington community.
