IMS Students Inducted Into National Junior Honor Society

A group of Irvington Middle School eighth graders were inducted as the newest members of the National Junior Honor Society during an induction ceremony on May 27.

The students were recognized for their academic achievement, dedication and commitment to the five pillars of NJHS: scholarship, service, leadership, character and citizenship.

“The ceremony celebrated the hard work and accomplishments of these outstanding middle school students,” adviser Karen Bodnar said. “It also highlighted the positive impact they make within the school community. Families, faculty and administrators gathered to honor the inductees and recognize their continued pursuit of excellence both inside and outside the classroom.”
