Gymnastics Unit Builds Student Strength at Dows Lane

Gymnastics Unit Builds Student Strength at Dows Lane

Dows Lane Elementary School students are developing strength, balance and confidence during the gymnastics and Ninja warrior unit in Tiffany Flynn and Marisa Stracuzzi’s physical education classes.

Throughout March, the students will participate in engaging activities including tumbling challenges, balance exercises, rock climbing, obstacle courses and work on the rings. The unit is designed to help students build physical skills while encouraging perseverance and teamwork in a fun, supportive environment.

“This is an awesome opportunity for students to increase flexibility, strength and balance,” Flynn said.
